i've been grounded ( 8===D ) but today i went with my mom and her friend to see the dark knight. it was my third time and since my thinking was moving too fast for the movie i tried harder to pay attention to the details, like how the license plates on the cars are illinois plates with the word "gotham" instead of "illinois" and how exactly the shot was set up in the pencil trick scene without really showing pencil penetration and how the phrase "play it close to the chest" was used twice, by two different characters. what does that phrase mean, even? does it mean to keep something secret? i read some nolan brothers interviews and i like everything they say. heavy heavy things. i had to work at target four days in a row! george costas would say, "fuck that shit." | | |
| i can't stop thinking about the dark knight! i mean, honestly. the movie was so affecting that i am full of regret for not seeing the filming and stunts in chicago, for not stalking the crew around on lower wacker drive when i had the chance. the explosion with rachel dawes was filmed in an old candy factory that's practically in my backyard, jesus. plus, when i was talking to that boy lsat night i forgot the #1 rule to boys: act like everything they say is the most charming thing you've ever listened to. not that i need it, but my game is bad. | | |

| My time is neatly divided between the pursuit of sleep and the pursuit of awakeness. In my writing class my teacher Robbie Q. had us write lists of the funniest people we knew so here is my 9 ready for publication: Aral, Santiago, Michael Raffetto, Cullen*, TJ, Nat, Emily, Gigi, Doug*, Jason Lee *kind of www.flickr.com/photos/spacejams. scanner, why you so broke? | | |
